About the event
We invite you to be a special guest of Mayor Curtistene McCowan at the Mayor’s Reception & Fashion Show. This exclusive, invitation-only event will kick-off our first annual DeSoto Fashion Weekend at the newly renovated Grow DeSoto Market Place.
The cocktail reception and fashion show is coordinated by fashion consultant, Issac J. Birdlong, and will feature local designers and professional models. Restaurants in the Grow DeSoto Market Place will also provide a sampling of their cuisine for your pleasure. Many of the businesses within the incubator will remain open for browsing.
Friday, September 7
Cocktail Reception: 6 - 7 p.m. (Invitation only event)
Fashion Show: 7 - 8 p.m. (Seating will begin at 6:50 p.m.) (open to the public)
Although the tickets are FREE, you must register to attend the event. Only 150 tickets are available, so GET YOUR TICKETS TODAY! Limit 3 tickets per guest.
